When friendster first announced its blog, lots of people (me included) thought that "woo.. finally, a non hassle way to start a blog for the uninitiated!"

BIG hooha, BIG disappointment. Sure, in all fairness, friendster provides what every blogging service needs, a place for us to put in our two cents where otherwise it would be worth nothing. However, the problem is they did it with the bare minimum. Other blogging services, allows their users access to a lot tools that friendster doesn’t. Sure, friendster does give flexibility in designing your blog, but thats only if you opt for the packages that will set you back quite a bit, whereas other services do it for free.

They did provide the photo album feature which is a good thing as the normal frienster account only allows 12 photos, but it is only available to those who created a blog, thus allowing them to try to hook more paying customers! Smart marketing. 

I’m not sure that everyone will share my grouses, and I don’t know if I will lose my  friendster account over this. But I foresee this to be my last post for a very very long time. Over and Out!
